Take your cricket to the next level this winter!
Guernsey Cricket is delighted to announce an exciting programme of additional coaching opportunities for junior and senior players throughout November and December 2026.
Led by Jeremy Frith, Guernsey Cricket’s Head Coach and ECB Level 4 Coach, the programme offers expert guidance, specialist coaching and the opportunity for players to develop their skills in small groups.
Whether you’re an experienced club cricketer looking to improve your game or a young player keen to build confidence and technique, there’s something for everyone.
Senior Club Coaching – Ages 18+
Open to club cricketers of all abilities, these sessions will provide practical, easy-to-apply coaching tips to improve individual performance and enjoyment of the game.
Friday Sessions
- Dates: 6, 13 and 20 November; 4, 11 and 18 December
- Time: 6.00pm – 7.30pm
- Cost: £150 per person (six sessions)
Sunday Sessions
- Dates: 8, 15 and 22 November; 6 and 13 December
- Time: 4.30pm – 6.00pm
- Cost: £120 per person (five sessions)
Individual sessions may also be available at £35 per session, subject to availability.
Under-17 / Under-19 Coaching
Structured coaching and practice sessions designed to help older junior players develop their technical skills, improve game awareness and prepare for the challenges of senior cricket.
- Dates: Tuesdays – 3, 10, 17 and 24 November; 8 and 15 December
- Time: 6.00pm – 7.30pm
- Cost: £100 per person (six sessions)
Under-13 Batting Development
Specialist batting coaching focusing on the technical and physical skills that underpin effective batting.
Sessions combine individual skill development with practical exercises, fun games and challenges to help young players improve their technique and confidence.
- Dates: Saturdays – 7, 14 and 21 November; 5 and 12 December
- Time: 2.00pm – 4.00pm
- Cost: £110 per person (five sessions)
Under-15 Batting Development
Develop your batting technique, confidence and consistency through specialist coaching, practical exercises and engaging challenges.
These sessions are designed to help young players build the skills required to progress their cricket.
- Dates: Sundays – 8, 15 and 22 November; 6 and 13 December
- Time: 12.00pm – 1.30pm
- Cost: £120 per person (five sessions)
Under-11 Batting Development
Fun and engaging sessions designed to introduce and develop the fundamentals of batting, with an emphasis on technique, confidence and enjoyment.
Players will benefit from a supportive coaching environment that encourages learning through practice and games.
- Dates: Sundays – 8, 15 and 22 November; 6 and 13 December
- Time: 1.30pm – 3.00pm
- Cost: £120 per person (five sessions)
Christmas Cricket Masterclasses
Two special coaching days offering young players the opportunity to develop their batting and bowling skills through specialist coaching, practical exercises and game-based learning.
Sessions will focus on building confidence, improving technique and enjoying cricket in a fun and supportive environment.
- Age groups: Under-12 and Under-13 to Under-17
- Dates: December – to be confirmed
- Time: 9.00am – 3.00pm
- Cost: £70 per player, per day
Players should bring their own food, drinks and snacks.
Small Groups – Limited Places Available
Each coaching group will be limited to a maximum of 12 players, ensuring participants benefit from individual attention, quality coaching and plenty of opportunities to practise and develop their skills.
All junior coaching sessions will operate in accordance with Guernsey Cricket’s safeguarding policies and procedures.
