The Clicksmith Boundary Breakers Programme reflects Guernsey Cricket’s commitment to making
cricket an accessible, inclusive and enjoyable sport for everyone, regardless of age, ability,
background or previous experience.

Proudly supported by Clicksmith, the programme is designed to introduce cricket to individuals and groups who might not otherwise have the opportunity to participate, helping to break down barriers and demonstrate that cricket truly is a game for everyone.

Boundary Breakers places particular emphasis on reaching new audiences, encouraging participation and using cricket as a vehicle for social inclusion, friendship, confidence and personal development.

Through welcoming, adaptable and enjoyable cricket activities, the programme aims to create
opportunities for people of different abilities and circumstances to experience the physical, mental and social benefits of taking part in sport.

Celebrating the 2026 Season
During 2026, the Clicksmith Boundary Breakers Programme continued to support Guernsey Cricket’s wider ambition of extending the reach of the game beyond traditional cricketing environments.

The emphasis has been on creating positive experiences, encouraging participation and
demonstrating how cricket can be adapted to suit different needs, abilities and interests.
The programme recognises that the benefits of cricket extend far beyond runs scored and wickets taken.

Participation can help develop confidence, co-ordination, communication and teamwork, while
providing opportunities to make new friends, remain active and feel part of a supportive community.

Importantly, Boundary Breakers is not about identifying the next international cricketer. It is about ensuring that more children have the opportunity to experience the enjoyment, friendship and sense of belonging that cricket can provide.

Thank You to Clicksmith
Guernsey Cricket is extremely grateful to Clicksmith for its generous support of the Boundary
Breakers Programme and its wider commitment to the development of cricket across the island.
As a valued partner of Guernsey Cricket, Clicksmith shares our belief in the importance of creating opportunities, encouraging participation and supporting initiatives that make a positive contribution to the local community.

Their support helps us pursue our ambition of making cricket more inclusive, accessible and relevant to people from all walks of life.

We also extend our thanks to the coaches, volunteers, community organisations and participants who help bring the programme to life.

Looking Ahead to 2027
As Guernsey Cricket celebrates its Centenary in 2027, we are determined to build on the foundations of Boundary Breakers and further develop our community engagement activities.
Our ambition is to establish new partnerships with schools, charities, community organisations and other groups, creating additional opportunities for people who may not previously have considered cricket as a sport for them.

We are particularly keen to explore activities that encourage social inclusion, support physical and mental wellbeing, and introduce cricket to people of all ages and abilities.

Boundary Breakers is about more than cricket. It is about breaking down barriers, building
connections and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to be part of the Guernsey Cricket
community.

We welcome expressions of interest from individuals, charities, schools, community organisations and businesses interested in participating in or supporting the programme.
