The Titan Wealth Future Stars Programme is a key part of Guernsey Cricket’s commitment to
introducing young children to the game and inspiring the next generation of cricketers.

Proudly supported by Titan Wealth, the programme provides a fun, inclusive and welcoming
introduction to cricket, helping children develop fundamental sporting skills, build confidence, make new friends and discover the enjoyment of playing cricket.

Future Stars is designed to encourage participation from an early age, regardless of previous
experience or ability, with an emphasis on enjoyment, teamwork and personal development rather than competitive results.

Through carefully structured coaching sessions and cricket-based activities, children are introduced to the basic skills of batting, bowling, catching and fielding in a safe, supportive and engaging environment.

Celebrating the 2026 Season
The 2026 season was another positive year for the Titan Wealth Future Stars Programme, with
enthusiastic participation from young children and tremendous support from parents, coaches and volunteers.

The programme continued to provide an important first step into cricket, encouraging children to become active, develop their co-ordination and confidence, and experience the many social and physical benefits of participating in team sport.

Particular emphasis was placed on creating a welcoming environment for both boys and girls,
ensuring that cricket remains accessible and enjoyable for children from all backgrounds and
abilities.

Beyond the development of cricketing skills, Future Stars helps nurture important life skills, including communication, co-operation, resilience and sportsmanship.

The programme also provides a natural progression into Guernsey Cricket’s wider junior
development pathway, including the Mourant Junior Cricket Leagues, where children can continue developing their skills and experience organised matches.

Thank You to Titan Wealth
Guernsey Cricket is extremely grateful to Titan Wealth for its continued support of the Future Stars Programme and its investment in the development of grassroots cricket across the island.
Their sponsorship helps us provide young children with positive early sporting experiences,
supporting our ambition to make cricket one of Guernsey’s most accessible and inclusive sports.

We also extend our sincere thanks to our dedicated coaches, volunteers, parents and families,
whose enthusiasm and commitment are fundamental to the programme’s success.

Looking Ahead to 2027
As Guernsey Cricket celebrates its Centenary in 2027, the Titan Wealth Future Stars Programme will continue to play an important role in our plans to increase junior participation and introduce even more children to cricket.

Our ambition is to build on the foundations established in recent seasons, strengthen links with
schools and the wider community, and ensure that every child has the opportunity to discover and enjoy the game.

Every great cricketer starts somewhere – and for Guernsey’s next generation, that journey could
begin with Titan Wealth Future Stars.
